Statistics are on the rise. More and more net-savvy buyers...and not-so-net-savvy buyers - start their real estate search on the internet.
There are several factors as to why this is: Free information abounds on the web, and no agent is knocking down your door to get your business.
So why not?
But along with buyers surfing the net for real estate comes reality. WHERE are all these property searchers surfing FROM? Studies show that there is an increase in the number of workers sitting at their desks while they surf the net. This fact alone increases the congestion on business servers - from photos being downloaded for viewing, to emails being sent to spouses, children, mortgage brokers and real estate agents.

Housing Industry is on its way back up?

I am hearing that nationally, the industry has bottomed out and is on its way rebounding back. Is this true in your area? Spokane has seen an increase not a loss this year. I heard that Tennessee and several other states have seen appreciation, although Phoenix hasn't faired well.

Research has shown that most potential purchasers of real estate are starting their search online. That says "MOST" - so doesn't it make sense to post the property you are trying to sell "ONLINE" where they can find it? Everywhere possible, you want to market that property on the internet.
If you are using an agent, ask them for a list of the websites where they have listed your property. If you are selling it "By Owner" then start by listing it on gotHouse.com. You will be surprised how much activity will be generated by having it posted online don't rely on the MLS alone.
